This is a scene I stopped to make a picture at today. It kind of looks like the plants are trying to push the car back into the barn. Whether this car was on its way in or out, it almost made it.

I really like this picture and believe your analysis is spot on...the undergrowth really appears to be working hard to push the car back into the barn. My money would be on the Forces of Nature.
